1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My First Plush (sachet) on: August 15, 2008 04:56:34 PM
I made this little sachet plushie for a friend, but then I didn't want to give it away. So here he is. He has dried lavender inside of him to make him smell lovely. He reminds me of a tooth, but that wasn't my intention originally!~
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Sweet (Robot) Dreams on: August 13, 2008 10:03:48 AM
I made these pillowcases (there are two, but the second one isn't done yet-eek!) for my wacky friend Julie Jutland (thats her in the pic), who thinks robots are sexy. (!!??!!) The other 'case has two different 'bots on it, and says "Sleep Well Julie....BeeP BooP!!".

This is only the third embroidery project I have ever attempted, so it was kinda hard for me. Especially, the letters, for some reason. The whole thing is just regular stitches (back stitches?) since those are the ONLY ones I know how to do yet.  Undecided     I drew the whole design myself, just onto regular paper, and then traced it onto the pilowcases. I'll have to get a better picture, this one was taken at her birthday party, so they aren't very good of the project itself.
