Did you paint it or did you mix it (The poly)? Because, it looks amazing. It so cute yet creepy, it's perfect. ^_^

The main body is silver metalic polymer clay. The bill is gold metalic polymer and then I antiqued it with acrylic paints and finished with a clear polyacrylic varnish.

Ah, I never thought of coloring the cake before. XD But I agree, the fondant looks great on the cake. Was it hard putting the fondant on the round cake? Because, when I had a round cake it took forever to put the fondant on. >_<
