1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Zech Marquise Cosplay on: June 22, 2011 07:23:57 PM
So, about a year and half ago my close friend convinced me to make him Zech Marquise's outfit (which initially included the helmet).

I finally finished it except for the helmet, which is now in little pieces because I burned myself molding it and threw it dropped it.

I apologize that I do not have any action or back shots of this but it totally slipped my mind..

2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Tsunade's Go! opening Kimono on: June 23, 2009 07:00:05 PM
Hello! I was digging through some of my friends pics online and I found my Tsunade Go! Opening kimono. I was convinced to make this, because at Christmas I mad emy friend Shizune's Go opening. It's not that great.. Half of it was made after my cat bit me (and I got a nasty infection), so yeah..

Since my friend (the Shizune cosplay), also does Ouran Host Club, this pic came about..

Again, my friend and I got asked to do a yuri, so we faked it.. We didn't even kiss, but the poor little girl (she was 11) that was Temari, was so freaked out about it..

A group photo!

3  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 39 ENTRIES / Catalogue Summer Dress on: June 01, 2009 07:05:34 PM
Hello! When I saw this challenge, I thought of making clothing, specifically a dress. It's made from two catalogues, a southern furniture one and a country store one. The top part of the dress is the country store and the skirt part is made from the furniture. I didn't sew the seams together, but opted using kwik-stitch.

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Gothic Necklace on: May 19, 2009 06:58:45 PM
Hey.. I wanted some feedback on this necklace I made today. I became enamored with a necklace with various crosses in a magazine, however, I did not want to pay $65 on something I could make for $15.

The choker portion is just some ribbon I found lying around in the dining room, the 2nd strand is 3 pieces of silver floss braided (in my jewelery box), and lastly is some chain that was on sale at Michaels. The crosses were bought at Michael's as well, all on sale except for the center one.

Anyhow, I wanted to ask, is this too much for one necklace?

5  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Shizune cosplay from Go! opening (11 pics) on: December 24, 2008 06:06:36 PM
Okay, so here is my latest cosplay. It was a Christmas gift to my friend, and since we cosplay as Shizune and Tsunade(I'm the Tsunade cosplayer), I decided why not do the Go! opening kimono version?

It was kind of hard to get the proportions right, because of two things: first, she lives about 60 miles from me, and two, she didn't know her exact measurements. So, I got her height and bra size, and prayed so very hard that it would fit. Also, the butterflies were all hand painted on with no stencil (one thing I regret). Thankfully though, it fit her perfectly and she loved it.

So here it is.

6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Cosplay! (img heavy) on: November 23, 2008 12:01:01 AM
So, I finally built up the courage to post all (well, the few that I have pictures of) of my cosplay, renfest, and a gothic lolita pictures and get critiques.

So, this was my first cosplay that I made myself when I was 13. It's Kikyou from Inuyasha. I love it, however, it's retired now with fond memories, especially when my grandmother wore it on halloween.

Next up is my first Tsunade cosplay. It was made about 3 years ago. I was in rush, so the top didn't turn out too well.

This was a commision from a friend of mine who wanted to wear a costume to renfest. After much arguing about everything, and fixing seams and grommets after she wrecked them after trying on, this was the outcome.

This was my renfest costume, after some persuasion from my friend to go. It looks terrible, and I blame my lack of caring and time constraint (I made everything in 5 hours).

There is update Tsunade cosplay that was made this year. I am fond of this version, however, it's the same jacket from the first version. I ran out of time, so I just revamped. The Shizune cosplay was done by friend, Rachel, who is the most awesome Shizune cosplayer.

This was my latest commission, for my cousin, for a sweet lolita. I like how it turned out, however, I now have a hatred for crinoline, but, I guess I would after sewing 14 layers, totaling 5 yards, for the petticoat. Sorry for the bad picture, however, she has yet to send me a new picture.

7  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Tsunade from Naruto Costume on: October 14, 2008 08:20:02 AM
Hey! This is my Tsunade(from the anime Naruto) cosplay from last week's con. I made everything except for the pants (I hate making pants...). The wig I styled and colored (which turned out kind of bad), so thanks for looking!

Here's a pic from the back from a rave outside the hotel..

9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Painting for a friend on: August 18, 2008 05:31:16 PM
I would love to get some feedback for this painting. It's of my friend after giving birth to her daughter. I'm not fond of the it, and I would like to improve it more, but I'm not completely sure what to do.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Renaissance Festival on: August 12, 2008 06:53:56 PM
I've a lurker for a while on these boards, so I finally built up the courage to post. I've been sewing when I was 13 and have completed about 10 costumes so far.

This is a commission from one of my friends who is going to the renfest in the end of August. I didn't use any patterns, I free hand on the fabric.
