1  Another Happy Halloween Dress! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by tspoonmommy on: October 12, 2008 08:48:52 AM
DD wanted something to wear this month since she likes Halloween (she's 4 - so it's all about the candy!)
I decided I would try and use her halloween shirt from last year and just fancy it up a bit... so off to get some fabric and this is what I came up with...

I attached the skirt, lettuce edged the sleeves and sewed on the pumpkin to the front...it's supposed to match the pumpkin in the fabric of the skirt... kinda does, I think???

Comments/Criticisms always welcome!

2  Not sure if this really "belongs here" - but I made myself a twirly dress!! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by tspoonmommy on: September 26, 2008 07:33:43 PM
Here it is! I used my imagination for the top part of the dress - and made the bottom in Vegbee's patchwork twirly dress pattern! My DD is so excited that we both have twirly dresses now! Please excuse the wrinkles!

And a close up of the fabric:

Thanks for looking! Comments always welcome!

3  Shots of the things I've been making this week! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by tspoonmommy on: September 19, 2008 08:43:13 AM
And my new mannequin forms showed up today so I thought I'd share!
Comments always welcome!
Some crazy fabric I found on clearance that was just too fun to pass up!

This fabric should look familiar! I've seen lots of posts using it!

Another cute skirt

Are you seeing a trend here???

And the boy was feeling a bit neglected, I think so some cute lounge pants for him!!

Thanks for looking!!

4  I'm coming out of the closet and bringing some of the stuff I made with me! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by tspoonmommy on: August 30, 2008 11:35:21 AM
I have been a member for a few weeks now - but was lurking long before that! I have made several things from the awesome tutes I have found here - and would like to show them off!

My first twirly dress:
My first shirred knit top:

My first peasant top:

And a few other things I've done:
Bandana skirt dress:

And some overalls (still need to do the buttons and I'm trying to decide if I should do snap tape or just sew up the legs:

Enjoy - comments always welcome!
