I've dabbled in making chunky houses before which were always fun. So when I stumbled upon these great chipboard cut-outs at Michael's I found it hard to resist. I think my favorite would have to be the first and third.
The first one has a real window made from plastic and the image is a vintage image I've had forever. The flowers are made from paper and imitation pearl buttons. I think the sticker on top just ties the whole thing together
The roof on this one reminds me of grapes but I like it - there's a really cool texture to it too that the camera couldn't quite capture. I had the perfect little key hole charm that fit so well here.
I love the paper on this one - gorgeous handmade paper! The image at top is a Virgin figure that is kind of hard to make out in the image. Also in the window frame is a golden elephant that is hard to see with the glare. The flowers are made from these weird flower button things (not real buttons I think) that are glued down and the stems are puffy paint.
This one was kind of a "scene in Abe Lincoln's home life." Who knew he had fairy wings and liked flowers in his hair. The frame is actual metal held down with two brads.
Last one. I love the dictionary page background
Any C & C welcome!
