That is gorgeous! I love the simplicity of the design with the great color of glazes.  Grin
4032  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Repurposed Drawers --> Paint Shelves! on: October 19, 2009 04:02:40 PM
Ooh that is such a good idea! I have a smallish box bursting with all my paints and misc items. I found a small corner shelf by the dumpster at my apartment and adopted it into my home months and months ago which I was hoping to turn into a spice rack but never panned out (or rather I was just too lazy to figure out how to mount it on the wall). Now I'll just take that shelf thing and turn it into a place to keep my paints!

Thank you for your brilliance!  Grin

LOL oh the puppy dog eyes did me in!

I'll see if I can make up a tute in the next day or two. It's really simple - just layering of felts and basic sewing.  Wink

Does anyone have bead soup (random mixes of beads) in their stash? I need more small-ish beads (especially 3 and 4 mm).

I might have some bead soup on hand. I amassed my bead stash over the last year and ironically when I was going to make some jewelry for xmas gifts I find that I am a bit burned out on it. I'll see what I can pull to put on my shop tonight  Wink

Good luck Twiz and enjoy all the ice cream  Grin

Hey I'm looking for someone to make some sewn fingerless gloves for my bf who has medium-largish hands. I can give measurements and I found this nifty pattern if needed http://www.craftleftovers.com/blog/archives/832. Please please please  Grin His hands are ice cold and winter has barely started  Undecided

A2K - glad to hear your knee is doing better. I know if I hurt myself I'd be on the couch all day, so kudos to you for keeping busy (though take it easy! you don't want to reinjure yourself  Tongue)

I just got back from lenscrafters where I got a new pair of glasses. Glasses are not cheap! How sad am I to be reminded of this. I'll see if maybe I can post a decent picture to show them off - my boyfriend says they make me look like a teacher.......I was a little confused because I didn't know teachers had a specific look LOL. Maybe he just means it makes me look smarter  Cheesy Wink

I'm getting a crown for my tooth in two weeks too which I'm not looking forward to, but I'm glad that I'm getting around to taking care of myself (I'm horrible about keeping up on doctors appointments, etc especially when it means shelling out money). I have to take advantage of my insurance now while I have it since I'll be going back to school starting in January and most likely be going down to part time at work which means very few benefits.

On the crafting front I got some stuff done; a custom art piece for aeronberry, and some other stuff for personal swaps. I have a few smaller things to add to the shop probably some time this week.

Next up: dinner. Chicken, broccoli, and pasta, mmmmmm. What spices to add? Yum  Grin
