661  MY altered puzzle Volume 2.0 in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sheepBlue on: December 16, 2009 05:58:10 PM
I've made a couple of altered puzzles before and I think with each one I improve a bit. Here's my latest for the STS Holiday swap. I had so much fun with this one

Here's a few of my favorites close up; amusing abe, star girl, love sax, scissors cutting, and the giggle

I did each piece separately and completely at random so they are oriented any and all ways; I really love how the color came together.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks  Smiley

Alright Ladies!!!!! Let the show begin!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

First of all my secret swapper is toooo awesome  Cheesy All of the items were wrapped in pretty rainbow paper (I think she must have caught onto my love of COLOR!  Wink). The first thing I opened were these BEAUTIFULLLLLLLL felted bag and pouch. The bigger one is for my tampons at work hehe, she said she loved my story about how I keep them in an old cracker box and thought I could use this one. The smaller one is for my cell phone and it fits perfectly  Cheesy It should since she stalked me out and looked up the exact measurements to make it haha. I am so smitten with the color combo here, I keep pulling it out and looking at it. And its so soft too. I love them so much! I've never gotten anything felted before.  Grin

Next I pulled out GORGEOUS handspun that's really chunky and soft. Both are Faulkland wool; the one on the left is dyed by lapoli and the one on the right is dyed by my stalker!  Grin So pretty! I'm definitely going to add one to my blanket, but I think I might save the second one to make a really pretty scarf or hat out of.  Grin Grin

The final thing I opened was this really funky bright neckwarmer with an awesome handmade button (I think). It totally fits my style perfectly and I love it. Even the pink fits well with the rest of the colors  Wink

Thank you thank you thank you stalker!  Cheesy

I was cruzing my local favorite thrift shop and saw these!!!

It instantly reminded me of ZS. They're only about a foot tall and sell for $1. Too cute lol.

I received from Zuliblu a couple of days ago and finally got a chance to upload the picture! The bamboo pendant is awesome; I love old fashioned pictures and scenes  Cheesy The dangly one has chain in it too and sparkles a lot  Grin Always a great thing hehe. Thanks so much Zuliblu!

665  Boredom leads to stencils in Stenciling: Completed Projects by sheepBlue on: November 29, 2009 02:43:58 PM
I finished all my xmas crafting/shopping and had nothing to do so I decided to actually make something for myself for once. I browsed the interwebs for ideas and came up with some stencils to have fun with  Grin This is all done using freezer paper

The Sam Jackson Bunny was a totally random find but I love it. Apparently my paint loves to bleed on the bag material though; but its not too bad. I'm trying to think of a good caption or phrase to add on to the shirt with the girl screaming. Any ideas?

I got the most awesome pendants from Wendlina and craftygurl!!! They also were sweethearts and angeled for me too.

I was really really hoping for some ceramic pendants from craftygurl since I LOVED the ones she sent last round hehe. And I'm completely smitten with the metal heart and bead charms that W did. Thank you so much gals!!  Grin

It's been a while since I checked in on this thread and everyone's puzzles are looking awesome  Cheesy I just wanted to share one that I made recently for a personal swap

I used a sponge for the edges this time and I'll never get tired of that faded look. Too cool hehe.

I just received a boatload of awesomeness from freestyle!!!! I can't believe you sent all this to me  Grin Grin Grin

Check out this beautiful group shot

In additional to the two skins she spun for me, she threw in 4 more!!! as samples to use in my blanket. I am in love. You guys have turned me into a hardcore fiber junkie.

I took another progress shot for fun. I'll totally have to do another when I add one these yarns

Its about double what I took last time. I should have some handspun coming from penguino too that we did a personal swap for that I am sooooo excited.

You guys rock!
