2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / What can you recommend for a beginner? on: January 10, 2009 11:59:39 AM
I have been sitting here looking at all the wonderful completed projects and feel totally inspired to get out the sewing machine again - however Im a beginner and want to make something that wont be too tricky for my first proper project - Ive made bags and done some alterations etc before.

So what would you lovely ladies recommend as a nice easy beginners project, I have 2 girls aged 2 and 4 and would like to make something for one of them.

Thanks in advance  Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Craftsters in the UK - where do you get your fabric - I want a Walmart! on: September 16, 2008 09:06:29 AM
All I keep reading is that people have got these fantastic bargains in Walmart - where in the UK is a good place to get fabric? I look on ebay but most is FQ's and I want bigger bits, plus when you add the postage it soon adds up  Sad
