Sorry for your loss, the idea of a foot print sounds so beautiful, do post pics when you decide to get it done.
2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: February Lady Sweater Along? on: August 26, 2008 01:19:21 AM
stealtheshow- that is a beautiful color!  i started mine over a few days ago (i hadn't gotten very far anyway Wink ) so i could do yo's instead of kfb.  i think it adds some interest to the top Smiley

i just did my first buttonhole the other night, and things are coming along Smiley  i'll post a picture soon

Thanks, it's the first time I've chosen green for a project, I'm obsessed with red and pink, and my wardrobe could do with a change. Anoter mod I'm doing to the FLS is about the buttonholes. I'm not doing any, my Tangled Yoke has press studs and I like that so much better. In the FLS I'll put buttons on the outside for decorative purposes, though. Waiting to see yours, cherry blossom!

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: First sweater! on: August 22, 2008 05:28:02 AM
This is Rusted Root, my very first completed sweater and entry for the Ravelympics!

Project details and more photos.

Your very first sweater looks INCREDIBLY good, I must say. My first sweater is in a box and I pop it out every now and then for a good laugh.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Star hair clips (& domino bobble) on: August 21, 2008 08:36:25 AM
Lovely! I've been toying with the idea of customizing hairclips as I can't wear bobbles anymore (short hair!) and your stars and ribbons are adorable.
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Post Photos of Your Tattoos! on: August 21, 2008 06:04:01 AM
That's such a cute tattoo! I want to get a craft related one as well, maybe knitting symbols as it's what I do most, but your tomato is SO rad!
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: It Happens (Tetris fun and slight language) on: August 21, 2008 05:54:04 AM
Oh my. That is SO funny! If you sold shirts with that on them, I'd buy them :-)
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Rainbow Scarf with clouds **now with pattern-post#32 on: August 21, 2008 05:50:54 AM
Thanks! I used the crochet circle method on Happy Hooker, and was kind of sad when I was done with all my circles, I had so much fun!
