i was in target today looking for bins to store my christmas stuff in and i saw these craft furniture organizer type thingies.

i think i am going to buy one (the one with the big door with drawer on bottom. it has shelves in side & hooks on the door to hang stuff)

I decided to make a few of these tonight. I couldn't find anything but the tiny marbles so finding good images were more of a challenge-- but I found them!

I havrn't finished them yet, still need to put magnets or whatnot on the back





as you can see in the above pic, i got some xl flat marbles, you can't see the images too well in the picture but they look better in person.



i got this rounded tin at best buy today. apparently if you have a rewards card you get one for free. my bf has a rewards card and got it for me. its thick enough to fit about 10 loose CDs.  it holds about 40 of the small marble images i made covering one surface

I made a lot of these tonight. Thanks to an awesome friend, I have an abundance of bottle caps  

I haven't sealed them yet or put magnets on them, I was thinking about putting push pins on a few of them as suggested in the marble magnet thread. I also thought about putting them on one of the decorate clothespins I made. I'll post pictures of what I finally decide what to do with them.

For the record, these fit in the AOL tin I have (with a magnet on) So if you're looking for a way to package them.

i LOVE the idea of making your own poetry. if you're looking for a funky theme... i bought a set awhile ago that was "personal ad" themed

you can even cut out small pictures to be used in the phrase making

the words are so fun to make phrases with

i took some pics of my poetry if some of you want to print out your own

I did these today  

easy easy easy! I loved it. I got the glasses at Marshall's for real cheap if any of you were wondering.

A few tips for those who haven't done these yet and plan on it:

-make sure your stickers don't have any wrinkles or bumps. some of the etching got underneath and made the shape i was going for look bad.

-the etching stuff was all over my bare hands and it didn't hurt or anything (i guess i don't have sensitive hands) so if you get a little on you, don't freak out (once i got it on me, i immediatley washed it off, however)

-the hardest part for me was getting the letters to stick straight, so pick small words/phrases

-i couldn't get the masking tape straight, so i just taped it on in random designs
