The Mayor for the city that I work for is a fan of the "bullpen" style of office space meaning that in the next month I will be moving from my lovely office to a cubicle.  One of my coworkers is very upset about this move so I made her the following picture for her new digs.  I used a pattern from hoop love.

My Mom is obsessed with bay leaves - she thinks the addition of this herb makes any dish taste better so I have made her a bay leaf basket of goodies for Christmas this year (I even made Bay Leaf Ice cream!)  This is a picture that I made for the basket from an Aunt Martha's pattern.

So I have never been to France but I dream often of going.  This pillowcase represents what I think it will look like (just kidding).  I plan on making another with champagne, cheese and bread because when I have my dream trip to France, I plan on consuming those items often!

I have been lurking around this area for over a month now picking up embroidery tips from everyone - thanks so much!!

This is the first thing I have done - I made it for my husband who is a chef and who also is a huge fan of Mario Batali.  It is from a Aunt Martha's pattern.
