Found a really cool tee on sale at Target, in my favorite purple color, and pink scripty writing. It was also, alas... to big.  Not anymore!



Embroidered it, chopped off the top, turned it into a cross wrap, and then trimmed down the bottom, and braided the extra fabric to make the halter ties! Here's a detail of the machine embroidery...



as you can see, I also sewed real bling onto the shirt I got off a funky earring I bought. Just to add that little extra.

Rockin my new halter and soo ready for warm weather! We had our first March in Minnesota with no snow in 135 years. I'm beginning to believe that maybe winter is really over. Woot!

I know, at first glace those things don't seem to be related. Reusable lunch bag, and a winter survival kit? Waa? Well just stick with me people... here's your fantastic handmade reusable monster lunch bag...

I have an embroidery machine. You just hoop up your fabric, load up the design, and the machine stitches it out for you! You can also usually take designs to local embroidery places and they'll do it for you.
