1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / a gift for my cute little cousin Sandra for her first Holy Communion?:) on: May 08, 2005 05:29:11 AM
hi crafty girls. Cheesy
i was invited by my sweet cousin to her first Communion. the problem is, it's next Sunday and i'm having my final high school exams this week, thursday and friday, and i'm desperately learning all the time.
so it leaves saturday for making the gift.
one thing i'll definitely give her is an album about the lighthouses of the world (as she loves to visit the lighthouses on Polish seaside)
i don't want to buy/give her anything striclty related to God and all this white and pink Bibles for little girls, because she'll propably get loads of those, and i'm sure it's not the best idea to give a child presents like this.
one, i was thinking about another book, a book for young ladies about life in general. second, she loves learning english, so maybe something english-related?
makbe little home made sopas for young lady?

i'm only ten years older than her and though i don't see her often i love her and want to make something really great. i don't care what the whole family will say, so it can be something really not connected with this event, but something remarkable (?), something that she might even treasure:)

i hope you'd have better ideas than me:)

and, if you'd have ideas about the books, pelase keep in mind that we're polish and some of great books of the world can simply not be translated here. but if you know a good story in simple english (or german as the young lady has crazy parents and goes to a crazy school and has to learn a lot), that would be great.

i don't know.. maybe you have a simple pattern for little rabbit mascot?Wink
