1  Free Valentine Cards to Print and Share! 4 Different Sets! in Valentine's Day by SpookyPooky on: January 31, 2014 07:16:53 PM
Hello friends! I have not posted here in a long, long, looooooong time! It's hard to keep up with all the different sites to upload my stuff, but Craftster will always have a special place in my heart. My two very best friends I met from here, and so many of you have always been so supportive and have helped me become who I am as an artist AND person today. Because of that, I wanted to do free Valentine Cards again to share with you all.

I have recently become completely and utterly obsessed with claw machines. I am like a claw machine prodigy, you guys. Seriously. It's ridiculous. But anyway, I LOVE the claw machines and I'm absolutely addicted to the thrill of winning plush that I have no use for so that became this year's theme.

Many people have told me they are going to tape quarters to them to give away! How cute is that?
So here you guys go! Thank you so much for all the love you have given me! This is the least I could do to return it! I have been doing this for 4 years so I am including all 4 sets.

They are not going to be high enough resolution to grab from here so I will leave a link at the end that will take you to my blog to print them if you so desire. To save the files, right click on the image, and select "Open link in new tab" and it should open up to just the image.  You are going to want to save the file(s) to your computer then open them to print. If you print directly from the link they will be too big. By saving it to your computer, they should open up to be the perfect size to print onto standard 8.5 X 11 paper. Enjoy!

Go here to download the pictures for printing if any of these strike your fancy! Smiley

2  This doll! I like it! Anoth-uh!! The Cute & Mighty Thor Doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SpookyPooky on: May 25, 2013 01:18:48 AM

Hello Craftster friends! Once again, it has been so long since I have been able to post! I have so much going on these days and find myself with so many projects it's hard to keep up with posting them all, especially with so many places to post things like my blog, Facebook, instagram, etc. It's hard to keep up! Undecided

So, I decided that since I can't post everything I make on here like I used to, I will at least try to make it a point to post my absolute favorite things. Cheesy

I recently became an even bigger geek than I already am, and fell in love with the entire Marvel Universe. I was never introduced to comics as a kid, but after finally seeing the Avengers months after it was released to buy I fell in love with everything about it. Luckily, my husband had quite a few comics to get me started, and his best friend has a bajillion and they helped me get properly acquainted with the comic book world. I love many characters, but between the fantastic and magical world of Asgard and the beautiful hair and eyes of Chris Hemsworth, I have kind of fallen head over heels in love with Thor. I love everything about the stories, the mythology behind the characters and world, the Thor movie and Chris Hemsworth as Thor in general. He brought such a special charm to playing him and I am quite smitten with the whole character.

So that said, after selling almost all my stuff to clear out things and with an approaching birthday of my own coming upon me, I decided it would be okay to take a break from making orders and make something for myself. I have had this doll in my mind for MONTHS, but finally sitting down and making him was so fun!

Doth Mother know, you weareth her drapes?

12 hours of cutting, unraveling, tying and brushing yarn which I then turned into his wig. Ugh. Never again. Shocked
Totally worth it though!
I figured if I was going to make a Thor doll, I better make his hair awesome.
But like I said- never again! Grin

And now I spend more time styling his hair every morning than I do on my own hair.  Undecided

Shakespeare in the park.

I made him a hammer too. I mean "hamm-uh!!"

You want me to put the hamm-uh down?!

This doll is so cute. And tiny!

Okay, I'll stop with the pictures now. Sorry for so many...I just really like him! There are more pics on my Facebook page which I think is linked at the bottom of my profile if you want to see more, but I am sure this was plenty. lol. Anywho, thank you for stopping by! I hope you like my Thor doll. Smiley

4  Finickus the Shelf Elf, Who Just Didn't Fit In in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SpookyPooky on: November 20, 2012 04:32:10 PM

Meet Finickus, a strange, curious little elf!
Straight from Christmas Town, he is here to reside on my shelf.
Finickus is a little different as you can probably see,
His idea of Christmas is skewed to a certain degree.
Let me explain his strange and peculiar attire;
It all started when he saw that elves were for hire.
His first day on the job, Fin arrived early to Santas workshop.
Eager to meet the man himself, he ran then came to a jarring stop.
Expecting to see a jolly, round man with a beard on his chin,
He instead came face to face with a tall thin frame with a skeleton grin!
You see, one fateful fall night, changes began taking place all around,
A tall, thin skeleton man was dazzled by something he had found.
Bored of Halloween Town and his reign as the Pumpkin King,
This skeleton known as Jack found Christmas Town and loved every single thing.
Excited and mystified, Jack knew just what he wanted to do,
He returned to his home with plans of something completely new.
Jack saw no reason that he could not take over Santas job for that year,
And with that he put his friends to work, spreading Christmas cheer.
It was the same fateful day that Jack arrived to take Santas place,
That Finickus also arrived and saw this new face.
Though surprised and caught off guard by this skeleton Santa fraud,
Finickus immediately loved him and saw nothing odd.
Well, long story short, Jacks days as Kris Kringle were short-lived,
And after that, Fin, sadly, just didnt fit in.
He loved bats and pumpkins and ghostly delights!
And spooky music that gives most beings a fright!
Its not that he doesnt like Christmas or warm fuzzy feelings,
He just has a different view of what is appealing.
But finally this year Santa thought of something great!
Elves were not only needed for making toys 365 days straight.
A new job-calling had arisen for elves,
An endeavor of watching over humans while hiding on shelves.
Santa knew he needed to send Finickus to Pooky,
A gal just as odd and fond of Jack and all things spooky.
Upon his arrival Finickus squeed at all the Halloween-Christmas decor,
And now they both never worry about not fitting in anymore.

I named him Finuckus because he was rather finicky in the process of being made! Normally dolls take me no time at all, but he took forever!
He is wearing Harem pants with Halloween patches and even has a hidden Mickey which is quite relevant to me if you know any of my back story. Smiley

His shoes are my favorite!

Thanks for checking out my little elf! I am so glad FoxyBlue hosted a Shelf Elf contest on her facebook because she gave me quite a challenge! Smiley

Amigurl55 had to move unexpectedly so I am not sure if she has even received my package. So I thought I would post pictures since November is moving so fast already and before Christmas takes over fully!

So glad you like your new family, seabound23!

I guess we think alike because I also received a Frankenweenie Ninni from her! I am kind of obsessed with the movie and made that pretty clear, but still! Great minds think alike! Smiley

7  Re: Art Doll Swap - Sendouts 10/05/12 in The Swap Gallery by SpookyPooky on: October 23, 2012 07:26:41 PM
I am so glad you like her Susan!

Looks like she arrived a little haggard after her long flight, though! Her wing bottlecap center did have the little cat on them that you had sent, and not sure what happened to her leg.  Huh I am pretty sure that it wasn't that much longer when I sent! lol. Is the little heart patch still on that leg that is so much shorter now? How strange! I am so confused by this!

Nonetheless, glad you like her and thank you everybody else. This was a great swap!

Yay, FINALLY a moment to post pictures! Susan sent me such a wonderful doll! As some of you may already know about me, I am an AVID Disney fan and my lifelong dream has been to work at Disneyland. Well, recently, (very recently actually) my lifelong dream came true and I got hired by the parks to do my dream job. It was everything I had ever wanted. But much to my dismay, my dream just wasn't meant to be this time around. It's a very long story, but in a nutshell, due to the insanely high cost of living in California and my husband and I coming from a place with a very low cost to live, we just weren't prepared for the move and had to come back home. It has been an incredibly hard ordeal for me to deal with and I still struggle with it on a daily basis.

Well, Susan had read my blog posts about it and made me a very special doll to represent all of this. It literally made me burst into tears when I opened the package because it hit home in such a special way. She really went the extra mile to not only make an awesome doll, but one that is near and dear to my heart and incredibly personal to me. I named her Lilly Belle, after the Disneyland railroad cart, which is named after Walt's wife, Lillian. Smiley

Without further ado, here she is!

She also sent me this awesome pendants and some socks in Halloween colors- my favorite!

Thank you soooooo much Susan! I can't tell you enough how much Lilly Belle means to me!

10  Tiny Disney Dollies! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SpookyPooky on: August 16, 2012 07:38:33 PM
As I mentioned in another post today, I am really on a Disney princess kick these days! I made a large doll of Merida from the movie Brave because I loved it so much. Then I decided to make all the princesses into dolls, which I am still working on. Then I decided to make a tiny pipe-cleaner doll because I was bored and wanted to find a task I could do while watching tv to calm down at night. I had no money so it needed to be cheap. Then I found a tutorial on pipe cleaner dolls and before I knew it I had a tiny Merida doll!

From there, I decided to make Rapunzel because I just recently discovered that movie too and I love it. I made Tinkerbell for my mom and I plan to make many more- not just of Disney but everything I like and some original designs and characters too. They are about 4 inches in height not including all the massive hair on these little dollies! I hope you like them. Smiley

All three so far:

Merida:

Rapunzel:

Tinkerbell:

Thanks for looking! Smiley

I had my mom hold all three to give an idea of size again. Smiley
