well, i wonder if you could coat it in.....nailpolish or something?  something sealing....it would look a little plastic-y, i think.  thats so sad!

How long did it take to dry? And about how many husks did you use? (what ever measurement you would like)

actually, it didnt take long to dry at all...well, im just assuming this since basically i tied it to my window blinds and waited for the submission deadline to come around!

and it didnt take that many husks at all.  one ear of corn, at most, probably. of course, i dont really know, since i just salvaged some from a pile.   i knit mine in really thin strips.
