1  family guy felt toy, can anyone help me? in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions by .:popsi:. on: July 02, 2005 07:24:15 AM
so here's the deal kids...my boyfriend has his birthday in 2 weeks and i'd like to make him a peter from family guy felt doll thingy....since it's his favourite show of all time.

picture for reference:-

(peter is the dad for those of you not familiar with family guy)

now i've never made a toy before and i don't think this will be too hard, but i don't want it to just be a flat outline, if that makes any sense.  i want to get the characters real shape down - does anyone have any tips on how i should go about this.

any help is greatly appreciated

thanks!

2  come oooon people - i need help! pleasums :'( in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by .:popsi:. on: October 19, 2004 08:46:05 AM
*hey crafty ones*  Smiley
i'm yet another newbie, love the site...hence the fact that i finally registered. oh, and i ramble. a lot.
so anywho
i work in this little shop with no air con or heating and a la mode it's cold...but not cold enough for me to wear a hoody and not get all hot while i'm working.  sooooo i was thinking a shrug would be the best thing to keep me snuggly.

this is the kind of thing i want to make:

basically i'd like something that comes above the bust (and is the same length at the back), with long sleeves and a hood.

*sorry for the inexusably poor quality of drawing but i'm pretty crappy when it comes to paint*

so does anyone know of a *free* tutorial, pattern, or whatever for something like this??

*hugs and sparkles*
