Fabulous dresses! What kind of material did you use? -- they drape beautifully.

I'm not exactly sure. I bought all this fabric from the remnants bin. It's stretchy like jersey, but more slinky feeling than tshirt-like jersey. It stretches both up and down and side to side. The fabric is white, and the print you see is printed on it. The brand is Samsung, and in the selvedge it had printed "Samsung Caravel Studio Line"...so, perhaps that will help?

I love color, too! The bright plaid one is AMAZING! Even on the dreariest day--how could you not be happy if you're wearing that hoodie?

the tute is in the original post of this thread. the 2nd part of the tute explains the lining and that's on page 2. But to avoid confusion (hopefully!), don't forget that the page numbers are reversed in order when you're logged in. So, if you look at this post while you are not logged in then the tute would be on pages 1 and 2. If you look while logged in, the first part would be on the last page and the second part would be on the second to last page. Those page numbers will change as more people post to this thread and the amount of pages increase.

thanks so much for this tute! I've been so apprehensive about bag making, but your instructions were very easy to follow so I decided to finally go for it! I needed a large bag, and a large bag is what I got. I think it might be just a bit too big, but overall, I'm super happy considering it's my first bag ever! I made a few mods because the fabric I used was so thick, almost like denim. I topstitched the pleats for a couple inches into the body of the bag and also topstitched the yoke to tame the seam allowance. I embellished the strap with ribbon instead of lining it and I used gold rings to connect the strap to the bag. I wanted to add an inside zip pocket but decided to take it easy, lol. So I just added a large pocket and I made a small zippy pouch to hold the essentials.. I didn't line the pouch, though. Enough talk, now onto the pics. . .
