So beautiful! It reminds me of collecting leaves as a child and putting them in books to press them. The color never stayed. I am curious to see how long the color stays.

Here I am with an update! After a little more than a month and a half, the only leaves that still have some color left are the red ones. I wonder why....the other ones started turning brown after 10 days or so, and they became pretty ugly! The red leaves are turning a little brown too.

So I guess the best use for the laminated leaves is as decoration for a dinner table, as long as they are made not too long before  They do look so beautiful when they are "freshly" laminated, and I'd say they hold well for minimum a week.

Yes, I made them on Friday, and they are really good - I like that they are not too sweet.

I think they're great! You could stick them to the window or make a little mobile out of them :-)

This is another great idea  it would be fun to make it using leaves made out of different materials as well, like fabric or paper...

Gorgeous! Love fall leaves, but the problem is always preserving the colour. I have laminated other organic materials i.e. flower petals and the colours always faded in a matter of days. Wish there was a way to preserve them indefinitely but I have not found it yet 

I would love to laminate flowers...too bad the color doesn't last. Do you have any photos of the laminated flowers? i thought about laminating lichens, too 
but I will definitely re-post photos of the leaves in a couple of weeks!


And yes, laminators are kind of expensive, but luckily we found ours at the recycling center,yeah! this is actually my first project with it

Hi Blackie.sage, yes this is all experimental...I guess I'll re-post in a month from now with the results. And as for the the red leaf, I'm not sure what tree that is, but I'm planning to find the name for all the leaves :-)
