1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Aurelia's Renaissance Faire Collection on: March 08, 2012 11:55:35 AM
I have been trying to find a tute for the little overdresses - I have four girls to garb for the Faire next month (13, 11, 10, and 15 months). LOoooooooooOOoove your daughters outfits!

She looks lovely! I wish she'd come watch my kids so I could sew too. Wink

It's the "Friendship" line of Pyrex bowls... http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=pyrex+friendship&_sacat=See-All-Categories

I'm a bit of a vintage pyrex addict, which is why I had click through on the thumbnail on the main page, LOL. I have wheat, amish, flowers, etc. and am lusting over the whole set of Gooseberry bowls. :-D

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby's cardigan IMG HEAVY on: June 16, 2010 09:41:13 AM
Ooh how exciting! I have four girls (if you include bump) so I don't think I'm in for any boys any time soon!
I have to admit I'm shocked by how many people still love knitwear. I thought it was just me still stuck in the dark ages Cheesy
So glad there are still people around who appreciate the craft, my Granny came in useful after all!

I have 2 boys and 3 girls - my stepson is our oldest, then our 3 little girls in a row, and then our caboose was the very unexpected little boy... we're very excitedly looking forward to find out whether this one is a boy or girl, because we have lots of shopping, sewing, and crocheting to do... I haven't really learned knitting yet, so I have a deep appreciation for the beautiful garments you knitters can create!

Aww thanks guys Cheesy I just wasn't sure but I'll see how I feel when she gets here

Well if you REALLY hate it....  Grin I should be finding out on the 29th whether our newest addition is a boy or a girl, LOLOL

That's so sweet!

So I'm eagerly awaiting the birth of little girl number four, she's due on Saturday. I've made this cardigan for her but I'm not sure I like the colours. The pink seems rather more garish than it did when I bought it. What do you guys think?

C & C welcomed, thanks for looking!

It's gorgeous, I want it. Smiley
10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Thumb Guard! (with tute) on: June 09, 2010 07:45:54 PM
Ugh, I remember looking at those thumb guards/finger guards when my littlest was still sucking his fingers at almost 4! He always sucked on his index and middle finger together - either hand - so there was really no way I could use something like that without taking away the use of both of his hands.  We ended up using some of that No Bite nail polish, and he kicked the habit in a week!
