1  Re: Lets See Pics of Tattoos You Designed! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Molly.Connelly on: September 10, 2011 02:58:33 PM

this is my very first tattoo Cheesy I went to the Seattle Tattoo Expo and ended up with this beautiful work of art. I had the space needle and the roots drawn out but my artist added the clouds and rain. I absolutely LOVE it and get complimented and get asked to take pictures of it all the time. Even tho I didn't grow up in Seattle it's always felt like home to me. I moved there at 17..as an awkward teenager and didn't know who I was as a person. I grew into myself there.

2  Re: Show Off Your Hair--Dyed, Cut, or Styled by Yourself! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Molly.Connelly on: June 08, 2010 12:28:10 PM
recently broke up with my deadbeat, violent, possessive ex-fiance and decided it was time for a change, so I did my hair.
put too much blue in the toner for my bangs and they turned blue. I actually like it, too bad work will prolly have a cow. thankfully it'll fade pretty fast. but for now it looks awesome!

I saw this candy corn hat in the knitted section and I don't knit but I knew I could make it crocheted and I thought it would look cute as a long elfish hat as well so I quickly got to work Cheesy

6  lots and lots of crochet hats! and a few scarves (pic heavy) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Molly.Connelly on: September 29, 2009 09:39:08 PM
I've made a lot of hats lately (I'm going to have a booth in a festival next august) and wanted to share some with you guys.
I plan on making a lot of hats and scarves for the festival and maybe a few other things but not really sure what else.

my hats (and a few scarves) as modeled by my lovely manikin Molly (woo for being a cosmetology student  Grin )

this is one of my favorites

this one is intended for younger kids

on me this hat doesn't look as stretched out (my manikin has more hair and thicker hair than I do)

you can't really tell but this hat is sparkly!

thanks for looking Cheesy
C&C appreciated

8  crocheting a romper in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Molly.Connelly on: August 19, 2009 04:38:05 PM
right now I'm working on crocheting a romper. I'm working on it from the bottom up and I'm a little over half way done with the shorts part. it's striped in different colors of blue and purple. ok so now my question.. I don't know how I want to do the top part. I want it to look chic and not childish. AND I'm busty so I want to be able to get it on and off easily. and I don't have a zipper and would prefer not to use one but might consider it.
something cute and chic like Katy Perry. straps are a must. and also what kind of shoes do you wear with something like this? (w/o heels Smiley )

9  yay for free stuff from work! (my Hello Kitty shelves) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Molly.Connelly on: August 06, 2009 08:41:48 PM
at work we occasionally have these things called shippers (shelves to display products) and when we're finished with them they just get thrown away. well usually they are cardboard so we put them through the compactor and they get recycled but this one was plastic and very similar to the plastic shelves you'd buy at a store. well the boss said to throw them out and my friend Jess (who I work with) asked if she could give it to someone, he said he didn't care as long as she got rid of it. so she gave it to me Cheesy I knew as soon as I saw it that it had to go in my craft room
but it started out looking like this:

which is not terrible but it doesn't at all fit the theme of my craft room. so I bought some "Watermelon" spray paint and my lovely wonderful boyfriend painted it for me.

here it is all pink (pre-stickers):

with my helper kitty (he didn't get to help with the actual painting of this bc he's not allowed outside but he watched from the back door with a very concerned look on his face)

AND Hello Kitty stickers! (and a few Keropi for good measure  Wink )

10  My Hello Kitty Craft room (pic heavy) in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by Molly.Connelly on: July 26, 2009 05:36:31 PM
teaser pic!

I recently decided to turn our spare bedroom into my craft room! I've been working hard on it for like a month now and while it's still not completely finished it's done enough to take pictures lol.
Befores:
ugly early 90's wall yuck  Lips sealed Roll Eyes

it did come with some neat particle board already on the wall

the closet door that doesn't shut all the way

helper kitteh

starting to paint:

Shocked Micah must have stepped in some paint!

my bf helping out  Cheesy (btw no he's not bleeding that's just the shirt he uses when he dyes my hair lol)

afters:
helper kitty yet again lol. and my poor neglected guitars

I modge podged some construction paper and stickers to the existing light switch cover

I haven't even gone through all my yarn yet!

the hello kitty I won at GameWorks in Seattle and the Transformers tin I bought at work for $1.25..doesn't fit my theme but I <3 Transformers and you can't beat that price lol. it houses my push pins  Grin

I have lots of stuffed animals..these are just the ones who fit the color scheme

the rug that's in front of my chair

my chair (and a bear that doesn't fit the color scheme but he's too cute  Smiley

now I just need to finish sorting through my yarn, get some curtain rods and buy some Hello Kitty fabric to make into curtains. I also would like a small desk for my sewing machine but I don't think I'll find anything that will fit in that room.
