So I just moved into an old house built in 1799. Its the coolest place with history in every corner, but the previous owner of the house deserves some serious punishment for lack of taste (I kid I kid, but seriously it's heinous)!
I'll post pictures today when I get home form work, but I'll explain it for now. Its a very small room- big enough for only like a twin bed and a nightstand... which is exactly what I want to do with it. I'm currently renting the house, and the landlord gave me free range to decorate/renovate how I want- HOWEVER, I will not be reimbursed for any of my work so I REALLY don't want to spend a lot of money.
The room has this hideous red white and blue wall paper, but the room had some serious water damage so half of the drywall and wallpaper is ripping off. Then, it has this blue (and I mean like royal blue) wall-to-wall carpet that is just... gross.
If anyone has any ideas of something I can like staple to the whole wall to cover up the wallpaper/water damage, or something to cover up the rug ANY ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
