11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: felted beads... in action on fingerless gloves on: March 05, 2005 05:47:02 PM
So much fun.  All the more reason for me to get off my butt and buy some roving.  I keep saying I'm going to pick some up and play with Kool-Aid dying.  I think it's about time I get to it!  They would be so fun instead of fringe along the end of a scarf or wrap!
12  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: What is the best lotion, body butter, or body oil u've tried on: March 05, 2005 05:17:40 PM
I have vegan friends who SWEAR by using olive oil.  Put it on and let it 'soak' for a little while before bed, when you get up in the morning...supposedly you are not oily at all.

I personally prefer Queen Helene Cocoa Butter, it smells good and works well.  Not to mention it is wonderfully cheap!

Those are adorable!!  Do you just roll dyed wool and water to make the beads?
14  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Very Simple First Quilt on: March 05, 2005 04:43:03 PM
This is the very first quilt I have ever made.  It just kept getting larger and larger as I added more borders, but I am happy with it.  It was a present for a friend of mine who is going through a really rough time, I wanted to give him something warm and loving without it being TOO mushy and lovey   Smiley  I was happy with the pattern, it ended up fairly masculine looking.
