i'm caving ... I said I'd take a break after Christmas .... but how can I resist this.  After all, my 2 year old and the hubbs play together and I can get them some fun crafty stuff.

Mama24boyz: I actually work in the framing dep't at michaels, I love my rainbow so much I'm gonna have it framed so it will last forever!!!!

I have a tiny confession.  I went to have a shower and left the wee one playing ... as soon ans I got out of the shower all I hear is ripping paper he only got into a few days ...but I don't know what number was what now.  I am so spoiled. I love my button rainbow ... it's going under glass asap so little fingers don't pick at it.  and then over my desk

Black Friday. umm sort of, Canadian here so the deals aren't like in the US... Old Navy is around the corner from home so I went for a walk with my little one .... there was NO ONE .... it was great went shopping got our christmas picture outfits and then attempted bath and body works ... great deals ... but I waited in line with 2 year old to pay for half an hour .... thank goodness we had lots of snacks.  Don't think I'll attempt it again ... certainly not with kids in tow!

Still here and crafting away ... just finishing up odds and ends and extras ... was browsing around today and found some great little extras for 2 of her boys ... now I gotta even it out for the rest .... I'm kinda glad senouts are soon ... I'm just gonna keep shopping until I send


I like Christmas with a little snow ... enough to stick to the grass ... not enough to shut down a city ... and I'm Canadian ... it's happened.

  I think I may have missed a few questions ...boo.  I have been really busy at work.  I should be better now. I'm visiting family this week ... and of course we're supposed to be hit by Sandy, although it doesn't seem bad today ... there are still flood warnings here in southern Ontario.  I have been crafting and waititng for an internet supply delivery ... which cam right before I left.  I have 6 days parially finished.  I'm coming home next week and intend to get down to brass tacks.  I did start digging out my christmas paper etc... before I left.

A: I decorate in dec ... usually the first weekend.  We're in our second year in our house, and our little guy will be 2 this christmas so my usual bahumbug attitude is suprisingly festive this year!

I was thinking amazon to keep the kindle books a coming but the Visa card for some ETSY goodies would be great too.

Crafting is coming along.  Mediums all done, most smalls and I have some treats bought.  One of my larges is in the works.  My partner keeps pinning new things though ... then I have to rethink things so add some of the new stuff

I'm crafty away and hoping to make a heavy dent in the crafting this long weekend.  Hopefully get my larges done at least. 

My fav Christmas story is the night before christmas and my copy is a very shabby little golden book.  For movies I love the old claymation rudolph and frosty.  and Elf, my sister and I answer the phone "buddy the elf, what's you're favourite colour?" as soon as it snows .
 

It is really unfortunate but my family is the same way, nothing handmade is really considered a good gift.  My hubby is really likes (or is a really good faker) so I'm going to attempt an assassins creed hoodie for him.

I'm still here and I'm still crafting.  I've been stupid busy at work and a friend who is getting married lost the lady who was making her cake last minute soooo like a fool I said I would help. 

Answer to this weeks question is OHH Yeah ... I sang in the choir from k-12 and we were always part of the christmas play, and when I was in drama we read letters to Santa, and in HS our student council did a version letters to santa where we would grant wishes and I was one of Santas helpers who had to go into the crowd and get the "unwilling" teacher who was going to get their "wish"  granted.

i've got my mediums done and some store bought stuff gathered.  Got some coupons this week for more supplies.
