the name of the quilt is  a take on the name of the  place i live, which may or may not make sense to the locals? .. and sort of french for town - since i live on the south coast of england , a short ferry ride to lots of french 'ville'? Grin

WOW!  love your bag - i had started saving tabs for a purse ...only another 1553 more tabs to collect to make one of a similar size Wink  i think i will start small with a purse?  ..( yours looks cute in the bag- is that the one you made/)

Thanks for the photos though - it's looks like a really professional finish.  what did you use for the crochet?

my latest bag from the bits left over from jeans - even (especially) the seams



it's double fronted and the  zip top is the jeans zipper

I love your embroidery and the straps too .. did you machine embroider?  ( and if so what sort of thread did you use - it really looks good!)
