i had a dream last night that i had been asking my mom for those birds nest earrings for my birthday and then i realized that i had them all along and they were sitting on top of my tv.

when i woke up this morning, i had to look at the top of my tv to make sure they werent really there...

Aw! Well, maybe the dream was a premonition and your Mom is planning on getting you a pair still.

this is was the day i moved in. it looks like this now:



wall hangingzz. i love the grass one above my bed. my fashion teacher hated it and said it could not count as my art project for the semester. i dropped the class.

i painted on these envelopes.

pen and watercolor. my signature doodle is this "sad pear" character. i just drew him sad for a long time and then i decided he needed to start having reasons to be sad. so now i draw him with dead birds and rainclouds and stuff.


also i was thinking about colorado.

i am friends with Bradford Cox of atlas sound and he was in town for a show on saturday so i had to show up with a sweet present for him. here is the scarf:


he loved it he was like "you made this!? this is SO 1993! i LOVE 1993"

no scarf on stage because lights are hot, but here is a picture from the show:

so i got into embroidery ala sublime stitching about 1.3 months ago and i've been hooked. its so much more mobile than anything else i do! so i made some practice ones. and then i did the cute little birdies on a shirt, which i'll get around to posting later, and then one of my friends had a birthday coming up so i made him one. and then another boy got jealous. so i made him one. both of those managed to get away from me pre-pictures. but not on the 3rd attempt.

this was a team effort. i was like WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS SCORPION!? and my witty friend said 'love stings' which i found amazing. so a tshirt for my buddy danny was born. he's in love with it. me too.

i like to do that with men's hanes underwear. that gets me some really good stares.

Homecoming is coming up and am looking to make this dress.

i just used the black on my red hair and i think it looks great...


i just did the underside...it isnt completely black, but its a huge change for me. i just washed it for the first time an hour ago so i cant tell you anymore beyond that, but i like mine alot.

so i just dyed my hair a few days ago. I decided i'm going to be "scene" and do that whole underneath hair thing. i like the way it turned out.

I have great hair. I'm not afraid to be proud of it. Its natural. I always knew the color was nice, but until recently i didnt know about how great its texture was. When i get out of the shower, if i just let it dry, its nice and wavy, but if i comb it, it looks like its been straightend. people ask me all the time if i straighten or curl my hair. it feels nice.
