3  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenges / Re: Craft Challenge #35 - Craft Your Resolution - Due Feb 1 - Feb 5 2009 on: January 04, 2009 05:11:17 AM
That's such a great idea! I have several resolutions for 2009... Loosing weight, getting fitter, writing novels, doing my translator's degree, moving and renovating our new house. Hm, I'll have to think about it.
4  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Baby-Bear Crochetalong! (Free pattern) on: October 11, 2008 02:17:35 AM
Wow, yours look so cute. Far better than mine *sigh* But I won't make another bear, in general, I prefer cats Wink

Yippieee, finally someone has made the little bear  Cheesy I think he or she looks very cute. Nevertheless, usually I prefer to make bigger animals too (especially amigurumi style). This particular project was a present for someone who longed for such a tiny bear but can't crochet herself. How could I say no ...  Roll Eyes

6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Latest News / Re: 9/9/08 - Opportunity for Craftster! on: September 09, 2008 02:23:20 PM
I have participated in the survey, but it doesn't seem to be designed for foreigners. I should have filled in my telephone number but it's impossible to type a German telephone number in the field  Sad And that was on the very last page  Lips sealed Unfortunately, I've read to late it's a survey initiated by American newspapers ... Anyway, good luck to everyone else   Wink
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: My beaded projects so far (very img heavy) on: September 08, 2008 09:57:52 AM
Thank you all!

Blueberry, here is the free pattern for the moon. It's in French, but there are drawings as well, so you can do it also without understanding French.

The black bracelet with the coral heart is very easy to make. You need stone chips (you can buy strings with semi-precious stone chips, they aren't very expensive) and round beads of the same colour. Take two nylon threads, attach them to the clasp and bead a number of chips on each thread. Then thread both nylon strings through the round bead. Repeat.

Kind regards

Nice skirt - but the language is NOT German, it's Dutch!  Tongue

Best wishes from Germany

So here is my result ... Not perfect, but I hope, the person who receives it will be happy with it anyway. Perhaps someone else like to try out now?

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Marble Pendants on: August 18, 2008 11:57:40 AM
That's such a great idea! I hope you don't mind if I try that, too. I also thought about experimenting with resin but your version seems like a good idea to try out first.

How did you seal the back-side of the pendants or didn't you seal them at all? I would be a bit frightened the paper which is glued to the back might peel off after a while ...

Best wishes from Cologne
