31  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Harry Potter Gryffindor Scarf With Tassels on: November 25, 2012 11:41:14 AM
Being out of work has given me lots of crafty time! Here is another finished project! A Gryffindor scarf. I am a huge harry potter fangirl!

32  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Beaded Christmas Earrings, Two pairs one mild and one a little wild! on: November 25, 2012 11:30:26 AM
Here are my latest beading adventures! These beaded Christmas earrings turned out well, one pair is kind of classic and the other one makes a more bold statement. The longer ones with the stars on them were a little more of a challenge to make, having to manipulate the chain and everything.

33  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Rainbow Brite Colors Kids Charm Bracelet With Light Blue Glass Baubles on: November 23, 2012 11:28:44 PM
I have been finishing quite a few projects lately because something about coloring and crocheting helps my stress so much! I have always loved the classic 80s cartoon Rainbow Brite, so I made this bracelet.

34  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Candy Inspired Green and Blue Scarf With Cotton Candy Inspired Heart Appliques on: November 22, 2012 09:15:28 AM
I made this scarf with things like Airheads, sour belts, and sour punch candies in mind! It kind of reminds me of blue raspberry and sour apple. Then on top of that I appliqued some cotton candy colored hearts. I was proud of myself because it was the first time I attempted to make hearts!

35  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Hand Beaded Red and Green Christmas Bracelet on: November 21, 2012 04:46:39 PM
I just finished this in time for the holidays!

36  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Princess Peach and Yoshi fan art earrings on: November 20, 2012 02:59:33 PM
I just love retro video games and geek chic accessories. I definitely get into some cosplay from time to time, so I thought I would make some earrings for the days when a full costume isn't possible.  Grin

37  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Blue Popsicle Applique Scarf Creamsicle orange background w/ Raspberry Trim on: November 20, 2012 02:03:06 PM
Another scarf from me! I guess it's the time of year to be making scarves. I have been working on diversifying my techniques and styles. I got a little more complicated with this one by adding a trim, and some blue popsicle appliques. I love bright colors and whimsical themes so this project was perfect for me!

38  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Super soft and warm scarf with lots of fun colors! on: November 19, 2012 04:58:08 PM
When I saw this rainbow yarn in the store I had to have it because you would not believe how soft it was when you touched it! I just finished this scarf, I double threaded it with some worsted weight yarn and so not only is it so incredibly soft to touch, but it is also impenetrable up against cold wind! This was sort of a branch out for me because the colors are kind of earthy, I usually like bright fantastical colors.

39  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / The Little Book of Tiny Monsters Zine / Mini comic! on: November 16, 2012 12:42:32 PM
I love making zines and DIY comics, and this project is a little field guide to the monsters that I have created, in an ongoing series of my art work. I had so much fun making this!

It has 16 pages including the cover, and it is just a little bigger than an ATC. I love these because they only take one piece of paper to make but you get quite an impressive little book out of the deal.
40  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Monster Graffiti ATC on: November 16, 2012 12:35:00 PM
I made another ATC! First I penciled it, then I inked it, then I colored it.
