That's very striking.  I'd think it would be just perfect with a low neckline and little other jewelry.  It deserves to be the center of attention Cheesy

Oh, I love those!  Are you able, and would you mind sharing a pattern for the first one?
376  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Silver plated wire Tiaras on: August 08, 2008 01:30:00 PM
wow, those are beautiful, the first one is my favorite.  It's quite different from what one thinks of as a tiara.  Are they soldered, or just wrapped?

that is quite lovely... blue is my favorite color Cheesy
378  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Kerallyn's ATCs - My very first one :D on: August 08, 2008 10:59:15 AM
Yay, my very first ATC!.  Also, the first time I've embroidered anything since I was a kid.  It was inspired by pen and ink drawings that I like to make.  I'll have to draw some as well as embroidering.  I actually have a couple other I'm working on in paint and polymer, but I had a long day at my mother's house and couldn't take those with me, so I decided to try this.

I had some trouble getting my information on the back.  It looked too sloppy why I tried to embroidery my email address, and I don't have a pen that is dark enough and small enough to write in such a small space, so I ended up just embroidering my signature sign onto a slightly smaller piece of felt and stitching it on the back to make a pocket that can hold a little card with my contact info.

I think you don't give yourself enough credit... If you feel the urge to draw, and the result is something so impressive, then by any definition I know, you're an artist.

that's delightful Cheesy  I took a color theory class last year and had to do a self portrait out of paint chips, it was quite interesting, but I think your dragonflies are much nicer Cheesy
