1  catbitt in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: September 06, 2008 02:05:04 PM
When I saw the dog/rabbit on craftster (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=262532.0) I was totally inspired to make my own.
Seeing that I am a catperson and that I am a little afraid of dogs (yes, even of dog/rabbits! Grin) I decided to make a cat.
I stuffed her with rye, just because I like to be able to used my plush as a heatingdevice  Cheesy.

She turned out better than I expected and I love her for it.

Oh, by the way, her name is Ziziel  Wink

2  ribbonblanket in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: September 06, 2008 11:52:40 AM
I was so inspired by a little birdie  Kiss (on stationary made by someone here on crafster, but can't remember who  Huh, only know that she is a dutchie just like me  Cheesy) that I decided to make something to go with it.
Couldn't think of anything untill suddenly I realised I've been wanting to make a taggie (or rather a ribbonblanket) for almost a year now.

So .. I made two. One with this lovely birdie and one with a cute little mouse. The colour is more a lovely pink, rather than this reddish pink.

3  pollie piglet in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: August 30, 2008 04:21:47 AM
this little piggie started out as a dog  Huh but i couldn't ignore her wishes, so here she is .. a cute little pig named pollie.

and this is her deliciously curvy butt  Wink

apart from her body she's all handstitched and i used the blanketstitch for the first time, so she took a lot of time, but i really love her  Kiss

she's stuffed with rye, so she can keep me warm during those cold winter nights  Grin

4  60's cape in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by smelli w. the bazile on: August 27, 2008 01:26:25 PM
I saw this cape on burdafashion and I really liked it .. so I made one. Unfortunately it's not as jummy as I hoped, but still nice. I really like the buttons, they also have one size bigger, so hopefully I can used them with something soon Grin.

The tutorial can be found here: http://www.burdafashion.com/de/Download/Gratis-Schnitte/1333669-1413206-1475414.html

Here's my itty bitty oddity ...

She's not as perfect as I would like, and also not as slim as I'd like Wink, but still, she's my first and I love her!

Presenting ... Umbrellie!

7  Re: I Spy Bag: made for a 4-year-old, but I wanna keep it! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: August 07, 2008 07:29:13 AM
I liked the idea so much, I searched for a tutorial right away (found a good one here: http://rosie-baby-crafty.blogspot.com/2007/08/i-spy-bags.html).
So here is my first (unfinished) I spy bag (has to be washed first because of the tailorchalk and then stuffed with rice and lovely girly things  Cheesy) .. I just wanted to tell y'all that is it FUN to make these!! I just used a thick plastic bag (dubble) for the window, so no nasty vinyl  Grin

PS: the little square on top will be the indexcard (after I print it on red fabric and sew this on the card), attached with a red ribbon to the pillow.

8  little rye pillows in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: August 06, 2008 09:46:40 AM
I make little rye pillows because I think they're very handy .. just a little bag with the rye and an cover because the ryebag can't be washed.
Pop them in the microwave for about 3 minutes or in an oven (175 degrees) for about 15 minutes and enjoy the warm pillow anywhere.

Very easy to make, and it makes a nice present Cheesy

Here are a few I made:

9  baby/toddlerslippers in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by smelli w. the bazile on: August 06, 2008 09:36:19 AM
I found this pattern on a Dutch website (I'm from Holland so that makes it easy to read  Grin) and wanted to make them.
The original has red instead of green (like a ladybird), but this was all I had. Still lovely right?  Tongue

They're felted and not that difficult to make .. I like them a lot!

Here's another pair I made this morning
