i'll post mine here too - i put it in the jess hutch thread too. everyone's is so cute! i usually don't take photos of all my projects, but this was my first dpn attempt and i'm so happy with it!

Yay! I made the same one this weekend and came on here to see someone else has my same color scheme.  Grin

it was my first time using double pointed needles - what a bitch!

i had been looking for different recipe card ideas earlier last week and looked at this thread and thought i should look out for these cards at yard sales. then a few days later I ran across a whole set at a sale! very weird. it is a great idea though - now i just need to get some magnets! thanks!

thanks for the links! i was able to get a table and 4 chairs at a yard sale last summer for one dollar!! so i couldn't pass it by. the chairs need recovering but the table is in great shape. ideally i would like a glittery vinyl.

Does anyone know where I can find upholstery fabric to recover chairs for a 50s style chrome/formica dinette set? I am looking for a vinyl like fabric that I can get in glittery colors or kitschy 50s patterns. Any help would be appreciated!

this is soooo sweet!! i knitted an ipod cozy and then saw some made of felt that i liked better. yours is the BEST of all I've looked up... I just sent my roommate out for a snap and pinking shears! thanks!!

try hats next year... i started doing scarves for everyone this year and found hats were easier.. especially a post on here for a one hour hat pattern!
