441  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Would you make this bear softie if you had the pattern? on: September 01, 2008 01:52:36 AM
It's really cute!
I would, but I'd probably change the legs, I can't entirely pin-point it, but the legs pointing in looks a little odd.
But overall, how cute!

This looks awesome! Your colour combo looks really nice, especially with the muted colours. Great job!
What's the pattern on the top of the desk?
443  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bambi, Podracing and Vader on a mushroom? IMG heavy? on: August 28, 2008 04:06:53 AM
'ShroomVader is awesome!
I love that it's just something you wouldn't really expect to see Vader on.

And your Bambi stencils are great! I'm doing stencilling at the moment in my Fashion Design course, and we're using old X-rays for plastic [even though it's too thick, and you have to dab and mush to get all the details, and then it ends up bleeding. SIGH] and it's hell on earth to try and cut it with an exacto blade.

My jaw dropped.

You did a fantastic job on the recon! I can understand never wanting to do that again. I did a quilted headboard from plywood, and had to drill and thread fifty buttons through to make that cushiony effect with the foam.

You've seriously turned that $6 couch [OH MY GOD. If anyone ever finds one that price, I'll pay for it to be shipped to Australia..] into something that people pay up in the thousands for. Mucho kudos.

Gee willickers!

That looks great Cheesy I saw your other thread [I think!?] about that room, and the whole thing ties together so well.

How much did the machine set you back, if it's not too rude to ask?
446  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Pokemon! on: August 28, 2008 02:19:56 AM
I'm totally up for this swap.

What about Pokemon types? Water, stone, fire, so on.

Favourite towns

Favourite pokeball type

If they're into trading cards, favourite powerups or whatever they were called..

Or summink.

Yeah, it's only available to view in America, which is a bummer. At least I can watch most of the songs on YouTube.
But unfortunately not getting to see the whole thing is leaving me a little short on ideas. I have one so far, but I don't know how practical it'll be to make. I'll have to look into it.

Might have to skip this swap, but I hope someone does do a Joss swap! Dragonmama, October-November sounds great to me. Grin

preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', 'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.')

I want to do this swap so bad!
I think I just just just scrape through [only just hit a month of being a member, and I HOPE my post-count is high enough.]

But I haven't seen Dr. Horrible since it was on the website. I don't even know if it's available for download yet in Australia.

I'm going to go hunt down the songs and then scrounge the recesses of my memory to think of ideas!
449  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Modified swimsuit on: August 27, 2008 03:28:26 AM
It looks great! And I'm glad to see a pair of swimmers that don't show 2/3rds of your boobs. I think your recon is much more flattering!
