With the local thing...I'm not sure if it will help, but a lot of Whole Foods (well..the two that I've been to) sell local products in their stores.

Farmer's Markets should be opening up everywhere now and I know that at mine, there are handspun yarns and other artists selling their works there as well.

mcook72677, it seems to me that you did a pretty amazing job with doing the partners. With what I've learned about mine so far, I'm super happy with what you've done.

Everytime I try to show him different truffles or anything that seems similar he says "nope." But, I don't trust his opinion 100% I'm not even sure he would remember how to cook anything since he's started dating me!

Hi everyone. If I am placing this in the wrong spot, please forgive me...My lovely boyfriend has been craving what he is calling "bonbons" but when I do a search for them in shops, recipes, etc...they look nothing like what he is describing! He says that what he had as a kid (10+ years ago) was round like a ball, chocolate on the outside with a powder-like chocolate on the top and the center is a "melt in your mouth goodness" that taste almost peanut butter-ish...Does anyone have any ideas as to what he is talking about??

Would this be an okay swap for a first timer? I'm really itching to try a swap and school for me is at a somewhat slow pace right now...Would love to get in on something like this also.
