2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Remade Crop Jacket on: September 02, 2009 11:37:12 AM
Hi, this is my first post here. I joined a while back and didn't really look much after my initial 3 day marathon of going through back posts. My BFF actually alerted me to the fact that you now have a Plus size area, which is awesome. I get so tired of going to crafting boards where if you are over a size 2 you might as well not exist... unless of course you are making things for size twos. lol. I mostly post on my own blog or on Wardrobe Refashion. I was reading some of the other posts on the discussion forum and I hope my plus size armature made jacket out of thrift store wool doesn't offend anyone, lol.

I like crop jackets. I had a really plain, straight lined one in my closet so I used that one as a guide to cut up this 80's blazer that I bought for $4 at the thrift store. I added some things to it like the sleeve ruffle and the frog closure. This is what I ended up with. I apologize for the horrible photos, lol. My house is under construction currently so I have neither good lighting nor 2 inches of blank space to stand to take a photo!

I have it pulled back in this bottom picture so it could be seen better but that didn't really work, lol.
