I made my boyfriend a cake for valentines day and since he is a video game geek it had to be a super Mario cake!its my second cake ever so its not perfect but here you go..

its a honey Cinnamon cake (i made up the recipe as i went along) and it actually tasted really good!the icing was vanilla flavoured and made from icing sugar,sugar syrup and milk.

Hello all  here's a cake I made for my friend's birthday last month.I used this tutorial -http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=260261.0  and modified it a little according to what I had on hand.I know its nowhere near as nice as the original but please,go easy on me as this is the first time ever I've baked a cake.

Here are a few goodies my boyfriend and i made for friends/family for Xmas ( i know its rather late,but here they are anyway  ).we made some homemade baileys and chocolate shot glasses to have them in,eggnog,some Xmas truffles (nigella lawson's recipe), strawberry shots and candy shot glasses to go with them.as for the packaging of the bottles,i must mention i remember seeing something similar somewhere online (using plastic Xmas tree branches) and ran with the idea from there by adding little bells,and other xmassy things.

All wrapped up

ive been looking at the things people put up here and its inspired me to want to start learning how to make soaps etc. ,so i thought i should ease myself into it by beginning with something easy like bath bombs.here are the results!(they're all the same scent,vanilla with a touch of sandalwood)

i was looking for ideas for my boyfriend since our anniversary was coming up and i needed one that i could finish in less than an hour since i was pressed for time and this was perfect!they are nowhere near as nice as some of the ones on here already but i just thought id put mine up anyway.for the cover,i used some old brochures i had handy that were thick enough and post its for the inside.
