How much does it usually cost to have one that big quilted?

I looked at your blog and have to say that your skills are amazing. This purse is incredible!

I am really intimidated by the gathered layers. I have a ruffler foot but have yet to really learn how to use it. Did you gather them by hand?

I am sorry, but I am a urology nurse. I recognize that rubber tube as a red rubber catheter. I guess I never thought they could be repurposed into anything else. I hope it wasn't used!! Smiley

I have been non-crafty lately with some health issues ailing me. However, last night this "little" guy paid me a visit.

When he took flight, it looked like a parakeet flying around the house. It was BEAUTIFUL. Even my kids were in awe of a moth so beautiful. I safely placed him outside where he could fly away (or continue to ram himself into my porch light).

This morning I finished my three bags I have been working on from the "Miranda" pattern. They look crooked in the pics, but they really aren't. I guess I have a lot to learn about photo shooting.

#1 for a co-worker

#2 for my MIL...no pic, but trust me it was cute. A Dachsund pattern in blue red and brown.

#3 for a co-worker. It reminded me so much of a flower basket that I had to make a flower pin for the front. It is made from two felted wool sweaters in the "bottle cap" style.

close-up of flower and the pin sewn on the back. Man my pics are blurry!

It is my first felt project. My first use of embroidery floss. And my first time seeing a moth the size of a small bird!

The flower bas is bottle cap with fiberfill and felted wool. The "rose" is made of a cream colored mohair/wool felted sweater. I mad a bud for the center and filled around with petals.

C&C appreciated. Thanks

This is very classy. Perfect embellishment of a simple skirt.

The work you did is utterly amazing! I wish I were half as lucky as your partner to get a gift as beautiful as these.
