2  Hello Kitty thumbtacks in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by KiaSedona on: December 08, 2007 02:01:30 PM
These came out SO adorable. I traced a 2" tall picture of Hello Kitty onto Shrinky Dink paper several times, colored them, cut them out, baked, and super-glued them onto flat thumbtacks. It doesn't get any easier! Or any cuter!

Here are the pictures of my POA-style Gryffindor scarf! The whole thing, a closeup on the fringe, and me wearing it (it's huge!!). I already bought the yarn to start one in Slytherin colors. =]

I knitted a lot this evening, and I think it's turning out well so far. I've never knitted on the round - magic loop - or tried switching colors before, so it's a little tricky, but I'm figuring things out!

5  Harajuku Lovers Stencil in Stenciling: Discussion and Questions by KiaSedona on: September 03, 2005 09:54:09 PM
Hey everyone! I was on the Kitson website and I really like this t-shirt from Gwen Stefani's line, Harajuku Lovers.

The design on the shirt looks really basic and I thought that I could make my own version of it. Does anyone have a better picture of this design? (i.e. a flat picture, no wrinkly fabric) If you could post it I would appreciate it. Thanks!

6  Re: Jordy Bag - Square Bottomed Lined Bag Tutorial in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by KiaSedona on: April 03, 2005 10:20:32 AM
i really like the pineapple one! it's so cute.

here's mine! this is the first time i've sewed anything major... well, i resized a t-shirt once, but that doesn't really count. i think the bag took 2 or 3 hours to finish. the inside looks reddish in the picture, but it's actually kind of pink.

for some reason, i'm now feeling an urge to make a yellow vinyl bag... hehe.  Wink

7  Re: Soda Can Rings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by KiaSedona on: November 06, 2004 05:35:10 PM
I made a bracelet out of a mountain dew can a while ago...

I folded over the edges then put black electrical tape along the inside so it wouldn't scrape me. It looks pretty cool!
