1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Jack o'lantern hat on: October 29, 2006 01:09:29 PM
I already posted this to the knitting board, but I was excited, and I wanted to share here too.  Roll Eyes

In keeping with the season, I FINALLY finished the jack o'lantern touque I started last Halloween. I work at 5am, so I'm lucky if I can even get dressed in time, let alone into a costume. This way I'll be in the Halloween spirit, and I'll be able to cover my bedhead.  Grin

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Niamh's Hat and Cape on: January 05, 2006 10:10:51 AM
My sister has been bugging me to knit her this cape for months, so as a Christmas/Birthday present, I finally got it made for her (and I learned how to crochet to make the hat too  Cheesy).

She really liked it. She even let me take photos.
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my take on the ipod cozies on: November 09, 2004 06:05:31 PM
I just got my iPod, and I wanted to keep it from getting scratched, but the only cozies I could find on here were crocheted, and I lack the skills to do that. So I improvised and made a quick one.

It's duct tape. Obviously that's cliche, but I thought the pink made it kind of cute. And it's holding up very well so far. Smiley
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / batman pin on: October 19, 2004 02:17:56 PM
This is pretty much my first post on craftster, so I'm a bit nervous. Anyways, this is a pin I made over the summer.

The base was a cylandar shaped piece of foam, and I just cut plain stickers to look like Batman and stuck them on. Then I stuck a pin on the back. Easy.  Cheesy My boyfriend made a Superman one, but unfortunately I don't have a picture.
6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / apple mouse on: October 16, 2004 02:21:36 PM
I have one of those turquoise, circular, iMac mouses (mice?) that doesn't work anymore, but being the packrat I am, I can't bring myself to throw it out. (Hey, it's still cute and colourful.) Any ideas of what I can do with it so it's not clutting up my bedroom floor anymore?
