1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Veronica Mars Swap? on: August 08, 2013 03:33:19 PM
Since the Kickstarter campaign and the fact that there is going to be a movie coming out next year, I was wondering if anyone else was interested in doing a vmars swap.
I would love to stay busy crafting during a rewatch Smiley
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Wallet Insert on: August 28, 2011 06:25:04 PM
So sadly in May my wallet was lost/stolen while I was back in my hometown. I was devastated (first time I had ever lost my wallet, and EVERYTHING was in there). So I've finally started to get some cards back (mainly just the most important ones). I was so sad that I had lost my wallet since it was gorgeous and so lovely, and I had it for years. So I started using the two different wallet's I had floating around my room... But wasn't too pleased with either of them.

The one I like the best had this really awkward insert in it which didn't have enough space for all my cards (even the small amount that I had just recovered!!). So I decided to make my own insert. I'm pretty happy with the final product Cheesy

3  COOKING / Dessert / Pumpkin Cookies on: October 17, 2010 09:06:33 AM
So for (Canadian) thanksgiving this year I wanted to bring something sweet to my family dinner. So I decided on cookies cause they are super fun to bake. I thought I'd be festive so I made them pumpkin shaped.

Don't they look tasty?

They are simple sugar cookies with flood icing. I really just wanted to decorate something.
The main difficulty was the pumpkin shaped cookie cutter. I couldn't find one, so I decided to make one Smiley

My housemates tell me that they were really tasty Cheesy

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Purple Pinafore on: January 23, 2010 11:08:12 AM
So I am in the process of going through all that I have made in about the past year. and posting the ones here which I failed to put up after I made them... due to lazyness Tongue

So this purple pinafore is made out of purple jersey. It didn't quite turn out like I wanted it to. Gathering is my least favorite thing to do. and I've gotten a lot better at it since I made this.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, I can't find my camera, so they were taken using my web cam. which proved to be tricky.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / purple infinity scarf on: January 22, 2010 06:04:32 AM
Okay so I'm not sure if this is where this belongs. If i'm posting in the wrong place let me know.

I've been soo busy lately starting University that I have completely forgotten to post all the things that I have made in the past few months. So here is the first thing I am going to post. Its an affinity scarf made out of purple jersey. I was just really bored one day and had a ton of this fabric.

I tried to get a picture of it full and long... but it didn't work too well with my web cam

Comments always welcome Smiley

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My Super Fantabulous Prom Dress :] on: August 05, 2009 11:56:36 AM
I decided early on that I wanted to make my Prom Dress. That thought brought me lots of grief, and quite a few tears the day of my Prom. But overall it turned out great, and fit like a glove. It was my first time putting in a zipper and working with boning. Both were a lot easier to work with then I thought they would be.

10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Wonder Woman... out to save the world... now with pictures :) on: November 11, 2008 12:59:31 PM
So I was fairly sure that I wanted to be wonder woman for halloween, only I couldn't find the right fabric to make shorts and it kept getting pushed. So like 4 days before halloween, I found a pattern for the top. the next day when I went to Fabricland to get fabric I found the perfect fabric for the shorts everything was falling into place. Everything went pretty smooth. The spandex shorts were awesome! (I am wearing them right now Tongue)

I think it turned out pretty good.
