1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: I need sci-fi food (or: Take me to your food cubes!) on: September 11, 2009 08:37:12 PM
Where were you guys (and gals) when I was in high school?  My Sci-Fi club used to just order Papa John's pizza for our movie days and parties. My favorite was the pepperoncinis that came with the pizza (except that time it squirted into my eye).

But I like your ideas. Smiley
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Poached egg over asparagus with hollandaise on: September 11, 2009 08:29:43 PM
Oh my gosh, that looks really good. My mouth actually started watering when I saw it. And thanks for the tip on the sauce, I always thought it was too difficult.

I'm going to try this. Smiley

6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Victorian Bustle, 1880s, Cream & Black on: August 31, 2009 10:17:05 PM
Oh my gosh..I think I'm in love.

I LOVE period pieces..there's something quite elegant about them. You've taken these to a new level. I got married in a Victorian style dress..complete with period appropriate bustle, petticoats and corset. Your dress makes me want to have another reception. Smiley

Great costume! You both look so cute. Smiley

Wish I was able to go to Ren Faire this year..but we moved and this new place doesn't have one. Sad So it was fun seeing your pictures!

Love the t-shirt sleep sack! Maybe I could use this as an excuse to cut up some of hubby's old shirts.  Grin
