1  Really Simple Doll Bed Tutorial in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kmyk on: April 18, 2012 12:10:50 AM
Hi everyone

I wanted to share this tutorial with you guys. This is a really easy doll bed you can make, it's pretty much just cutting and pasting! My original intent was to make this for my lati doll but after I had made this I found a wooden bed online. Even though I didn't use it, I still think this was a good attempt at making a bed. I made this one to look like the one I had when I was little, it also had three little drawers underneath it. Smiley I hope you guys enjoy this ~

I didn't want to upload all the pictures onto craftster since it's extremely picture heavy (about 25 in total)  Grin  I put all of them on my blog instead.

Supplies:
- large rectangular box (big enough for matchbox drawers)
- 3 matchboxes
- some ribbon
- 2 of those plastic safety corners for desks (I got mine at daiso)
- cardboard big enough to fit inside the box
- X-Acto knife (wiki link here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Acto)
- scissors
- glue

Optional supplies:
- paper to glue on top of rectangular box to make it prettier
- modge podge (for paper projects)
- paint (if you do not want to modge podge the surface of the bed)

If my pictures aren't self explanatory enough please let me know! I'll be very happy to answer your questions ~
