1  We dare not stop or waste a drop (Wedding Bouqets) in Weddings and Bridal Showers by second star to the right on: January 23, 2011 08:18:29 PM
February 26th, 2011 is my big day. I'm so excited, and I'm super proud of myself with following through on my wedding crafting Smiley

In this post  have  samples of my wedding bouqets, and the necklaces I made for my bridesmaids.

In the picture below is a pair of the heels the bridesmaids will be wearing, and the copper beaded necklace I made. The girls will be wearing a beaded chocolate gown hemmed to tea length.

Here is the bouqet along with the shoes and necklace. I made the roses from coffee filters, and the carnations are airbrushed tissue paper.

A side shot of the bridesmaids bouqets, along with a stream of chocolate ribbon that is at the bouqet base.

Here is a shot of my bouqet. (coffee filter roses and carnations but with silver add ins.)

And another shot...with my lovely beaded bridal shoes Smiley

One last shot of me holding my bouqet.

Comments and critiques are welcome, I hope you enjoyed! More posts with other wedding crafts are soon to follow!

So a while back I was in a Cryptozoology swap and my partner was a fan the giant squid.

With a couple old snazzy ties, some fabric and drawing up a Squid stencil...Vwa-la!

Comments and criticisms are very welcome Smiley

3  Re: Labyrinth Swap Round Three Gallery in The Swap Gallery by second star to the right on: February 08, 2010 10:16:49 PM
So today I was definitely pacing with excitement anticipating my package from Heath_Face! And I was no where need disappointed when it arrived!

First off, this fiery pillow was at the top of the box to greet me! It's so charming and instantly spices up my bed! Lol. My cat also has taken a liking to it...

Whoa blurry..and messy room. lovely...

Next up was an awesome crocheted Jareth owl! Can I just say how much I love owls in general and this being a Labyrinth owl makes it extra special! Love love LOVE this! Oh and this was Heath_Face's first job at crocheting! Impressive? I think so!

Okay, she definitely got me on this box! I love it the quote from Jareth when he says "In 9 hours and 23 minutes, you'll be mine." I was too excited that she had painted a box with this!

That is not all! Next I found this absolutely awesome journal that looks exactly like Sarahs copy of Labyrinth! She even detailed some of the inside pages with feathers! OMG! LOVE!

And last but certainly not least I discovered this shrink dink owl necklace! It truly was the best possible ending to a great package! The detail is amazing to me!

Thank you so so much Heath_Face! This package truly made my day and I cannot wait until your package makes it to you!

And a final group shot

My apologies for not posting pics of the WONDERFUL package that Heath_Face sent until today! I love love LOVE everything! Seriously, I could not stop smiling after I pulled everything out the box!

First up was the cutest baby giant squid EVER! My cat agrees with me, as she is seen below with the squid.

Next up was an adorable Nessie pillow that is so soft! I love the felt Nessie she stitched on! Sorry about my cat...she is a little obsessed with laying on everthing...haha.

Following those two awesome items was a gorgeous necklace that she sculpted all the charms for! I love how it looks, great job Heath_Face! I love it!

Lastly is a group shot of everything that she made! ( and Pepper the cat) My awesome awesome fleece blanket she made is shown here! The print is so cute, and features a giant squid wearing a pirate hat! Its ultra warm and I have been using it nonstop! Haha.

Thank you again Heath_Face, I love love love it all!

7  Boba Fett and Pie in Stenciling: Completed Projects by second star to the right on: September 08, 2009 01:46:23 PM
So my boyfriend and my brother both share a birthday in the same week so I thought it would be the a good time to make some shirts! However, both of the shirts I had problems with! This was the first time I have ever had any trouble with freezer paper, and I am not sure what went wrong?

So both with Boba Fett and the Pie shirt, some edges went a little funky. But overall I still like them:)

Boba Fett

And the back...

Not sure what happened to the "G" but I tried to touch it up with red paint, oh well:)

And then my little brother and I have an inside joke about pie. He is turning 10, so I wanted the shirt to be bright...I tried to use yellow, but boy was the a bad idea. The paint just got sucked up, so I had to go over it with a dark orange. The edges were really odd, so they have been outlined with black marker.

Regardless of all my troubles, I still like the shirts and hopefully the recipients like them too!

Comments and criticisms welcome!

9  Whimsical Feathery Fish Lantern in Completed Projects by second star to the right on: August 23, 2009 09:16:02 PM
This is a lantern I had out of cheese cloth, art tissue, and mod podge. His body is made of wire and cds:) And he is quite feathery in place of scales.

He lights up with LED lights, but my camera is being a jerk currently so this is the best I could get that wasnt a hanging, light up shot : /

Enjoy!

10  Ahh its a real monster bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by second star to the right on: August 02, 2008 08:02:29 AM
So I saw the cutest monster bag here on craftster, and I decided the idea was too cute to not use for my friends birthday! However, with all my pieces cut out and ready to go, I realized how much sewing was going to be involved! So this purse became my first sewing machine project EVER. I was pretty nervous! ButI decided to toughen up and just go for it! Its not perfect, but I am pretty pleased with the result:)

The lighting in these pictures is definitely not the best, so I apologize.
