1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / How to read a lace graph after decreasing?? on: September 17, 2008 10:01:21 AM
Hello All,
I'm knitting " Hey Teach" from Knitty.com. It's a lace cardigan, very pretty.
I'm working on the back piece and ran into a little bit of trouble. After the armhole decrease I don't know how to read the lace graph. Sad
After many attempts, rip outs, and way many chocolates, I can't seem to wrap my brain around it. Is there an easy way to read a lace pattererned graph after decreasing? Why is my lace pattern not lining up?
Any advice would be very much appreciated, you can even have one of my chocolates.

Thanks in advance!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Cargo Pants on: July 21, 2008 07:33:05 PM
Hey All, I purchased a cheap tan verigated yarn (huge ball) at Walmart for $5 a while ago. TAA DAA..... knit cargo pants with a side leg pocket!
They have an elastisized waist with a faux drawstring. They are very cozy for cool nights, and they wash up great. I think I would like to make them in navy too!
Thanks for looking,

Much love to all who craft

Hey all, this was a great project to keep me busy through the long, cold winter. Now it's complete I just have to frame it. The four characters are all on a big square piece of aida cloth. Who doesn't love Dorothy and her friends! I think my next project will be the wicked witch.

Much love to all who craft!
