So, it's 10 pm, The Kids Choice Awards are over, so what should I do? ROTOSCOPE!! I've never actually done this, or seen avatar, but hey, I'm open to trying new things. I'm not really sure what to call this, but I see kids in my school's graphic design class do this all the time, so why not? I kind of consider this a small victory, cause i never have the patience to do this kind of thing on the computer.
SO this is the original
and this is the rotoscope overlaying the original.
So after being inspired by many of the visual journals on here, I decided to make my own. And so far I have absolutely loved using it A lot of my ideas are influenced by others on here, so if you see an idea I used and want credit don't hesitate to ask for credit. So I stared with a mix of lined and computer paper and i sewed it all together using embroidery thread.
And here's a lovely shot of my algebra textbook actually being of some kind of use to me he he
I created the cover by using a top to a gift box and then I covered it with scrapbook paper. It didn't really fit, but i think the white on the edges is kinda nice. Then I posted envelopes in the front so i can have some kind of storage
and a (blurry) close up of the Eiffel Tower
And here are some examples of pages I've done
Here I write a word that kinda sums up the day and what I'm looking forward to (hehe it's not exactly finished)
I have A LOT of quotes in here, probably about 10-15 as of now.
this one was kind of inspired by the watercolor ones that have been popping around lately. Mostly inspired the back ground and the was the people look. I opted to make the people black though. Its done on paper with crayola paint and black marker.
I made this in September, i believe, for my art class at school. I just got it all back yesterday. Unfortunately this one was not featured in the student showcase, but it did get a place at the art show .
Its done on illustration board and is done in regular pencil and an ebony pencil.
I saw these at a local craft fair a couple of months ago and decided to make them to use as center pieces for my sweet 16. My party isn't until the end of march, but i wanna get an idea on how to do it. Any Suggestions?
So we just finished reading Lord of the Flies and we had to do a project. there were easy things like journal entries, but of course I pick the island! Its actually pretty epic. it took me like 3 days and i got none of my other hw done as a result.
So my friends birthday was last weekend and I had started this hat.
But I didn't think that I would see her on Saturday (b/c of a fh tournament she has to go to) Then it got rained out and she was like wanna chill? I thought I would have more time so I brought it to her house. I was making it and not only were they amazed at the fact i could crochet so fast but now they all want stuff. Then my friend wanted flaps and pom poms and such. Its easily the best thing I've made.
