1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Bento Swap Round 4 - Signups CLOSED, Send by 6/7 on: May 21, 2010 06:24:47 PM
Wow that is inspired ShesAZombie, can't wait to see all the goodies you've made.

The hamburger box is very cool. Looks like its a good size too.

I'm still crafting along. Very happy I have this weekend off, so I can concentrate on getting my projects done. But if I know myself I'll be working and tweaking till the last minute.

Have a good weekend everyone

Hey everyone! Kinda checking in at the last moment  Undecided  I've had a really crazy week. I have been working on one project so far, its a nice to play with fabric at the end of a stressful day. I have grand plans, I just hope it turns out as well as the picture in my head. Went shopping and found some cool things. I love the Japanese items they have some quirky things; I bought a notebook with blank pages, but the cover makes it look like ummmm an official text book (don't want to give away to much info  Wink ). It's fantastic.

Very excited to get started. After a bit of stalking. I've got a game plan going, and i have a couple fabrics in my stash to start on one of the projects. I'm so glad we have such a long crafting time.

sent in my questionnaire, hope I'm not too late. I'm pretty new to bento, i love looking at all the bento blogs they are very inspiring. Bento combines two of my passions art and eating. But i do find it difficult to pack a good balance of food and make it filling. I think the boxes I have a preschool sized. Anyways looking forward to this swap. Looking at all the other galleries has my mind swimming with ideas. And it gives me a good excuse to go downtown to find more stores, although i do have many Japanese markets right around me.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Square-neck dress or tunic? need help deciding. on: March 25, 2010 08:08:05 PM
i really like the boarder, and my first choice would be the dress then the tunic (i think that's more of a case of what kinda girl you are; dress or jeans girl), but definitely keep the border cause it ads a nice contrast and pop of color. The dress would look great with a pair off boots in the fall too. Good luck choosing. I would make both if i had enough fabric
