1  Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along in Craftalongs by LuvMaerz on: May 18, 2009 01:59:57 PM

I took a little inspiration from ghilie on the color palate... I love the combo!

I just posted some photos in the completed projects section of my girl Poppet.  I am so happy with this project...and she was my "practice" doll!

2  My first Poppet...and my first post! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by LuvMaerz on: May 18, 2009 12:21:26 PM

I have lurked on Craftster for far too long!  After the spotlight in the Craftster blog a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try my hand at making a Poppet.  I worked on it, off and on, for two days, and I think it turned out pretty good!

I have been making different types of softies/toys for a while, but I have never delved into some of the techniques that I was able to try with the Poppet.  Thanks so much to ghilie for making this pattern available!  I really learned a lot, and it wasn't nearly as hard as it looked.

Making an anatomically-correct doll was also a fun little adventure  Wink
