21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Blythe Doll - Holiday theme swap - Gallery on: January 18, 2008 01:24:12 AM
I trust adore_one has opened her package by now and hasn't had time to post.  This is what I sent her GR twins as modeled by my twin-ish CGs (the 3rd CG is pouting since she missed out):

Bonnets, dresses and stockings

Closer view of the top of the bonnets for no reason

The pattern is in the thread.  You should read it to see other people's modifications and notes.

There's the swap package I sent to Adore_one but she's only just received it and hasn't had a chance to open it yet.  My first swap package went missing and I had to make a second one and didn't send it to Adore_one until last week!  If she can't post pictures, I managed a take a couple before I sent them off but I'd rather see hers.
24  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Another Pullip/Blythe swap? on: November 27, 2007 03:30:38 PM
I'd like to see separate swaps because that means I'd be able to ogle twice as many doll creations!  I get nervous enough crafting for someone I've never met and hoping I get it right, I can't imagine adding the possibility of it not fitting on top of that.

I hope there's another round of "We Love Our ...", maybe after the Holiday Theme one.
25  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: We love our Blythes/Pullips Round 6! (Signups CLOSED Sendouts 11/07) on: November 27, 2007 03:08:26 PM
Is the next round going to be divided up into "We Love Our Pullips" and "We Love Our Blythes"?

Here are my two girls for the swap.

Teofila, playing with one of the boys:

And Shingo, who is currently away at the spa.  However, the proprietor was kind enough to take this photo of her for me, specifically for this swap:

They are both very excited and have promised to help me with sewing anything small.
27  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where to find Blythe/Pullip dolls on: November 10, 2007 10:54:04 AM
a really good place to find both but pullips especially is www.thevalleyofthedolls.com I ordered a petite blythe from them and it came quickly so they are a good online store!

That store is great for Pullips but their Blythes are severely overpriced Sad

Well, I hope you enjoy looking around at the Knitting  board, the Cooking Board and the Toys and Playthings Board.  There's even a board devoted to Crafting for Your Pet.  I look forward to seeing you around.

Ok, ok, one more, this one is kinda related.  Here is a post of acorn squash stuffed with apples with photos, but it's in the blog of Joyful Abode who IS a member here so maybe you clicked through?
