Thanks for the aging tips everyone! I will try it out in near future!

I like your pages thelastkodoma! Especially the 2nd one! It's got frog, and I like frogs Cheesy

Here's my latest pages!

It looks really wrinkly and stuff, and it is... This is taken from a regional newpapers culture part. It's the paintings of a Norwegian artist! Sadly the poor newspaper didn't handle glue very well...

A page dedicated to my family!

Or my heritage anyway, my two older brothers didn't make it to the page:

The leaves part of the tree can be opened and behind it is my parents and their parents.

I'm no too sure if I'm finished with this page though. I want to add more leaves (I ran out...) but I kind of like how it looks anyway.

That's it for this round of pages from me!

Whohoo! My 2nd and 3rd page! And 1st spread!

It's about comics! Which I love very much. The picture is from a Norwegian comic called "Riskhospitalet" which it a pun (There's something called "Rikshospitalet" in Norway, it means Region Hospital, "risk" however, means the same as in English).

I'm quite pleased with it. It's made with somewhat limited supplies (need to get some more real soon!) but it turned out nice Smiley I started the page with no particular idea in mind, and ended up with comic themes pages.

And I got to try out my new alphabet stamps! The word "comic" is stamped.

Oh! I really like that idea! Then I could dedicate a whole page to people's handwritings! (now, if only my printer had ink...)

Here's the progress of my first page by the way!

It's far from finished, but i had great fun doing it so far! The idea of the circle is from this thread:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=312712.0

So credit for that goes to Tigerfeet (though I'm not sure she came up with the idea, but because of her, I found out about it! Thanks!)

I'm no sure if I'm going to add any color or not... It looks best "magical" in black/white, right?

4  Paper star earrings and clay star earring. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Starairi on: July 20, 2008 05:55:59 AM
Somewhere on the net some time ago I found someone who had made a couple of earrings out of paperstar that you can make with a strip of paper. Sadly I can't remember where I found this but I decided to make a pair myself when I learned how to make the stars. (If you think you know where I might have seen this please let me know so I can give proper credits Smiley )

Here they are, I think they turned out cute. Smiley They aren't water resistant though, so I can't wear them if it's raining Tongue

I thought I'd add this, even though I know that it says in this subforum that polymer things should be put in the polymer clay forum. I just though I'd put it here so I didn't have to make two threads for almost the same thing.

I like this on it turned out cute, and I'm not very good at polymer clay so shaping it into a star without anything to help me, but my hands, was a bit hard.

Dino (sorry for the slightly blurred pictures...)

5  First projects in clay! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Starairi on: July 15, 2008 12:39:04 PM
I have to introduce myself, I'm usually known as Dino on community's that I'm a member of. I'm a 17 year old female. Tongue
Oh, and I live in Norway.

These are my first completed projects in fimo clay (the same as polymer I suppose).

Can you tell I like Mario? Cheesy The pictures are kind of bad, because of my crappy lightning...

Anyway, the Yoshi medallion thing is flat, I drew Yoshi on a piece of paper, cut it out and traced it on a piece of flat clay. I painted it by hand after it had been in the oven.
The piranha plant was pretty simple and I'm really happy with it. It sits in a small ceramic pot I bought at my local craftshop and painted green.
I made the chain chomp after my cousin told I should, to add to the collection, you know.

What do you think?
