I love that dress. I'd find a way to wear it even in the midst of winter over here in North America. Great job :)

looks just like it.

nice job :)

Nope, didn't see that. Just sort of winged it though a tute would have helped!

that kimya dawson poster looks like the ones that were posted around the school i go to when she came into town. do you happen to go to one of the claremont colleges??

Haha, I don't go to that consortium but my friend does. She organized the event/designed the poster and snagged me a signed one as a gift.

15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Teal, Plaid, and Babydoll. Do you need something else? on: January 14, 2008 11:58:28 AM
I found a pattern for this dress in my grandma's house last summer and it just sat in my sewing room for ages. I brought it with me to college and made it there. Because apparently Boston and Babydoll dresses go together? I don't know. Anyways, here it is.

I found this sweater at thrift and thought it had some potential. For a few weeks it sat in my crafting corner in the basement providing warmth for me and whoever else could fit inside. But since then I have located the thermostat and it was time to say goodbye. No before pictures but it was an XXXL sweater, imagine the hideousness.

Close up of fabric (ignore the weird drug riddled look on my face. I have no idea why my eye looks so wonky)

I'm wondering how long I can wear a Christmas dress for. I figure at least until all the decorations in my town are gone, so that'll carry me into April.

It looks perfect for a spring picnic. You know, if you don't mind the occasional teal fur in your food. Loves it :O
