1  My first two Jordy bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by katybird63 on: July 16, 2008 12:03:46 PM
I am absolutely in love with the Jordy bags.  They are so easy and cute.  Here are the first two that I have made.  They were a learning experience, I printed out the tutorial but I missed the section that said to turn your lining so good sides were facing each other when you sewed them together, the first bag I did not even realize I had done it wrong because it was a homespun type of fabric and it looked fine.  The seams that were in the bag and not between the lining and the bag did not seem to clue me in Smiley.  The second one I made I put pockets in and when I pulled my bag through and the pockets were on the inside of the lining, it did clue me in, so I got out the trusty seam ripper and out came all the stitches holding it the layers together and another try, it came out perfect this time.  I love them.  I found a great rhinestone button at WalMart for my first one so it has a little bling to it.  A girls gotta have a little bling don't ya know  Grin.
