Oh man I've been eyeing this pattern for awhile. Can't decide if I want to buy it and start, but yours is absolutely gorgeous!

This was one of the tutorials I used! It's a really good one!

There seems to be less and less sweaters at the thrifts now since they've brought out/moved up all the spring/summer clothes. Some days/weeks are just a miss, but it's always good to check frequently. Never know what you might find.

Are any of you on Ravelry? There's soem groups on there dedicated to unraveling sweaters and being thrifty. Thrifty Knits & Unravelers are just two of them. Smiley

Yeah I've unraveled a few sweaters now. I was very wary of colorwork, but this isn't a typical fair isle or even intarsia. It's like laddered squares in a color pattern. I don't even know how to describe it! I won't have super long lengths of color, probably pretty thick stripes length, but I'm still excited to frog it. It hasn't been worn either! Plus if all else fails my best friend loves alpaca and she'd probably want to play with it. Smiley

I love doing this too! I just went thrifting today and picked up 100% Baby Alpaca sweater. It's got crazy vintage colorwork going on, but it's so soft. Smiley Wink

Did you all watch last night?  How funny! Cheesy  For some reason, Sheldon always strikes me as awkward and funny, yet Leonard's mother strikes me as cold.  Hmmm, wonder if that's simply because she's a woman?  Hmmm....

I agree somewhat. I felt some of the things she said just made her sound robotic. =/

Purple sounds good to me!
I think I might try to add one or two more categories this round.

Ooh purple is my favorite color! This swap seems like it'd be a lot of fun! Smiley
